Provide Purpose
A Simple Path's Kitchen schedule is as follows:
Mondays: Admin and/or Training
Wednesdays: Training in sanitation, safety, menu selection, food prep, and knife skills
Fridays: Students of A Simple Path serve the public some amazing and delicious food for lunch! WE ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC ON FRIDAYS! We cook and serve out of the newly renovated industrial kitchen in the basement of New Life Church. Equip
A Simple Path's Kitchen Training program seeks to equip those who are homeless and/or impoverished with skills needed to become self-sufficient and healthy individuals.

We take this proverb to heart.
Some organizations give out food, which is a wonderful thing, but we give people knowledge and skills in nutrition, food preparation, menu selection, and sanitation. This training will not only help them find foodservice jobs, but it will give them a sense of belonging and purpose in their community.
Nourish
At A Simple Path's Training and Reverse Soup Kitchen, participants that have trained in our program will be able to create and serve meals to the public based on what they have learned. The public may “purchase” their meals through donation.
Participants will learn how to nourish their bodies and nourish others, while we strive to feed their souls. In turn, we hope A Simple Path’s Reverse Soup Kitchen will feed your body and soul when you visit.

Love
There’s an understood bond between food and love. We intend to strengthen that bond to cultivate a sense of hope and worthiness in the souls of A Simple Path’s participants.
Staff and volunteers at A Simple Path will share their knowledge and skills with their trainees while showing them the same unconditional love modeled by our Maker.
